Join us for the SWSC Labor Day Classic 2026, one of the premier youth soccer tournaments in Southern California. The event brings together top teams from across the region for a weekend of highly competitive play, excellent facilities, and a great atmosphere for players, coaches, and families alike.

Coach and Team Manager Guide

Registration & Team Selection

Athletes2Events provides tournament application and registration software. Teams are required to pay online during registration. Refunds will be made to teams not accepted. Team selections are based on team record, cup results, tournament results, league results, and overall record.

Roster Rules

Unlimited borrowed players are allowed. Roster size: U7–U12 up to 14 players; U13–U19 up to 22 players. 2026/2027 player identification cards, shin guards, approved rosters, travel papers where required, and medical releases are required.

Game Lengths

U7–U8: 2 x 25-minute halves. U9–U12: 2 x 30-minute halves. U13–U15: 2 x 35-minute halves. U16–U19: 2 x 40-minute halves.

Scoring & Tie-Breakers

Win: 6 points. Tie: 3 points. Loss: 0 points. Goals: 1 point per goal up to 3. Shutout: 1 point. Red cards deduct 1 point. Tie-breakers: head-to-head, goal differential, least goals allowed, most goals scored, wins, shutouts, FIFA penalty kicks.

Score Reporting

Pick up game cards at Tournament Headquarters approximately one hour before each match. After each game, collect the game card from the referee and report scores by QR code using PIN 1234 or by texting a full match report picture to 951-760-9914.

Weather & Refund Policy

If the tournament is canceled due to weather or Acts of God, the tournament may be rescheduled. Accepted teams will play on the alternate date or be invited to a future SWSC tournament. No refunds are granted for accepted teams.
